User :   FEmale 23 year. suffering from breast pain since 4 years. pain during monthly cycle for ten to fifteen days. intensity is too severe. even a baby touch also can worsen the pain. I consulted many doctors but they are telling its because of hormanoal variations and prescribing vitamin e and analgesics. i am really fed up with problem. please let me know what may be the reason i get pain like this. during the pain course i feel some hardness on both breast on palpation. after that nothing will be there.

User :   ya from yesterday i am having very severe pain its my 14th day of cycle

Doctor :   During the menstrual cycle, estrogen and progesterone levels vary in different ways. Normally, when estrogen is down and progesterone is up, breasts get bigger in size. But, hormonal imbalance could alter this cycle, making breasts even bigger, more susceptible to pain, and for more prolonged periods.

User :   but my breast is comparitively small when seen with same age group

User :   in the first when i took mammography- result was fibro adenoma

User :   doctors diagnosed my condition as PCOD
Doctor :   So fibroadenomas are are benign (not cancerous) breast tumors that are made of glandular and fibrous breast tissue.
User :   and i was on treatment for two years. last year scan report was clear and they told me i am out of problem
Doctor :   Also PCOD also causes a lot of hormonal imbalance and is aggravating the problem
User :   so what i am supposed to do now?
Doctor :   IfcAdenoma is small, painless, remains the same size, shows no problems, you would not need further treatment
