User :   I've had a recent EKG and echocardiogram (one week ago), still no results reported to me, but I'm still having "issues"...
Doctor :   hi
Doctor :   Dr. XXXXXXXX here.
User :   hi
Doctor :   please proceed with describing your symptoms
User :   Well, I started having "episodes" as I call them because it happened out of nowhere....I was sitting at my kitchen table (very calmly) painting some shelving and I got really flushed, hot, nauseated (not abnormal for me), so I went and turned on the fan, sat back down, and then had to runnnnn to bathroom to throw chest started aching..just uncomfortable really...
User :   I was drained and had to lay down, had 3 layers of clothing on and a blanket and still cold...dizzy, off balance...
Doctor :   ok. please provide your age, gender, location, occupation, height, weight, details of past medical illness and treatment if any
User :   and about a week later still kinda out of it...but 2 weeks later happened again (A week ago) and after effects and "episode" wayyyy worse! I am 24/F, TX, self employed, 5'4, 115lbs (recently lost 10 lbs not trying), and on medications Concerta 54mg once a day and Lamictal 200 mg a day for OCD
Doctor :   ok. when was your last checkup with our doctor?
Doctor :   *your doctor
User :   I have good days now...the bad days are just "out of it".....I had blood work done with my gp about a month ago to check for anemia and all was okay, "good" cholesterol a little low, but said was due to me being a smoker probably", and then cardiologist (the echo last monday) and EKG and more blood work friday before that...which they didn't tell me anything about any of the 3
Doctor :   ok. if they were normal results then it should be fine, but I would suggest you to discuss those reports with your treating doctor
Doctor :   to know what exactly they show
User :   Okay, so symptoms still persisting do I need to "stay on top of him", or if I have another "episode" hospital...or just ride it out....I have 2 kids and being a 24 year old female pretty sure hospitals wouldn't take me seriously as half my family hasn't
User :   really don't want to scare my kids if it's not necessary also
User :   family history horrible hearts by the way
Doctor :   no, i would recommend you to get a proper discussion of your reports done since there is family history
Doctor :   also, you will require to consult your doctor again to have recent evaluation of your OCD
Doctor :   if you have another episode then do not hesitate to go to hospital
User :   okay, that's my phsyciatrist and recently diagnosed..
User :   okay...will do. Thank you.
Doctor :   is there anything else I can help you with?
User :   I don't think so, just don't know how serious to take this since nobody else (except husband who witnesses) does.
Doctor :   you have to take it seriously until the underlying cause is exposed
Doctor :   and you start on proper treatment to control them
User :   Okay thank you for your help, I will hassle them monday I guess
Doctor :   just because your family does feel its serious, you should not give up
User :   thank you!
Doctor :   you have kids and husband to be taken care of
Doctor :   thanks for consulting me bye for now. all the best
