User :   yes
User :   same doctor as yesterday?
Doctor :   please proceed with your medical query
User :   alright
User :   im having bad headaches that oringinate either when lying down or when sleeping
Doctor :   sinuses are clogged and there is pressure above my eyes and on the bridge of my nose, so im wondering if all of these simultaneous things are making for one really bad headache
Doctor :   was this you query yesterday
User :   yes
User :   the headaches are scaring me
User :   i wake up every night with them
User :   at least twice
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   Have you got your MRI report with you right now
User :   i didnt get one, its been scheduled for 2 weeks from now
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   it shall be essential for you to have one report since your history is vague and not conclusive of any particular condition and hence it shall be needed to get the MRI findings
User :   ok
User :   is the pulsing a more timely issue?
User :   im afraid of an aneurysm or vascular problem
User :   something i would need to know sooner than 2 weeks
Doctor :   yes there are variour possibilities for now i shall think of it being just an infection hence to rule the others out i would need the MRI findings
Doctor :   there is nothing to be worried about as such since things shall be fine sooner you get it done
User :   so its nothing fatal in the next 2 weeks
User :   its already lasted 2 weeks so you think 2 more will be fine?
Doctor :   Have you got any investigations done in this regard earlier
User :   no
User :   just a negative ct scan
User :   and a normal ekg
Doctor :   was a Contrast CT done then
Doctor :   ok
User :   no
User :   it was without contrast
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   It shall heve been visible if there would have been any changes and there is nothing to be worried about since it has been reported normal
User :   ok, do you have any advice on the pulsing?
User :   to deal with it
Doctor :   sleep and trying to sleep shall help you
Doctor :   else you can try Coffee with out milk and Sugar it is used in cases of
Doctor :   Migraine
User :   ok
Doctor :   What is your age and do you have any Habits
User :   21
User :   i quit smoking cigarettes right before the pulsing and headaches started
Doctor :   ok
User :   and i use chewing tobacco pouches, a couple a day
Doctor :   are you currently using them
User :   yes, per my doctors advice, im weaning myself off of them, down to two a day
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   you will know that tobacco in the chewing form will have the worse adverse effect than what smoking can cause
Doctor :   Chewing tobacco increases the risk of oral cancers, throat and pharynx cancers. Oral cancers include those of the lips, mouth, gums, cheeks and tongue.
Doctor :   Nicotine constricts blood vessels, raises blood pressure and reduces the amount of oxygen in the blood stream, all of which have an effect on the heart, Brain and kidneys , and can contribute to cardiovascular disease.
User :   my quit date is 2 days from now
User :   should i just try and stop altogether now?
Doctor :   Good Wishing you all the success
User :   thank you
Doctor :   The earlier the better for you since there is no such thing that you need to do it only 2 days from now
Doctor :   but if that is any part of your therapy then you need to stick to it
User :   ok well i have 4 pouches left and i planned 2 today and 2 tomorrow then no more
Doctor :   ok Good
User :   and for clarity's sake, i mean the bandit type pouches as one pouch, the small ones that fit between the lip and teeth
Doctor :   Since it has a direct effect on the blood vessels then it shall be essential for you to be able to get it out and then see if your having the same symptoms
Doctor :   ok
User :   that makes sense
Doctor :   they will not reduce the effects due to nicotine though
User :   what do you mean
Doctor :   the size that you have mentioned will still have nicotine and
User :   right i just wanted you to know what i meant
Doctor :   the same effects are seen
User :   but quitting should reduce the symptoms of restricted blood flow and probably help alleviate the pulsing to a deree
User :   degree*
Doctor :   not that way they are seen immediately but in the long run you will be benefited and the symptoms shall come down
User :   are there any reasons why the pulsing feeling would be worse when sleeping or when lying down?
Doctor :   that is the time when you are relaxed and you are lying flat on your bed that means that your circulation is getting redistributed and hence your blood supply to the brain will increase and hence
Doctor :   you would be feeling the increase in the pulsation that you are having
User :   even if ive tried sleeping in a recliner?
User :   it still happens, and im not lying flat
Doctor :   yes that is because sleep time is associated with your body trying to tell that you to relax and these are changes that are triggered by the brain not by position
User :   ok
Doctor :   Well XXXXX I shall be hearing from you sooner you get the MRI done since i would like to know the report too
Doctor :   and shall be in a better position to help you further
Doctor :   Is there any thing else that you would like to ask about ?
Doctor :   Are you with me xxxxxx?
Doctor :   Please fill the feedback form say done when done
Doctor :   Have you filled the feedback form which I have sent?
Doctor :   Are you with me xxxxxx
Doctor :   I have to close this window since there is no response from your side, please get back to us if you need further medical advice. We are available round the clock everyday.
