User :   Hi my name is XXXXXXXX i am 36 years old and have a brownish discharge that is sticky from one breast.
Doctor :   Since when are you having discharge?
Doctor :   Is there any pain , itching or discharge is foul smelling?
User :   At least 8 months now just got it checked cause never went away. Mammagram is clean ultra sound showed nothing and blood work for prolactin level came back normal. What should i do now. Is it cancer?
Doctor :   Do you have any pain , itching or discharge is foul smelling?
User :   sometimes little sour but i don't know if it is discharge. no has no smell just sticky.

User :   no wouldn't mamo show that.
Doctor :   I mean do you feel the swelling by self examination or not?
User :   no i don't
Doctor :   When did you get the Mammo done?
User :   could i have pre caner that can't be detected by mamo. got mammo done 2 days ago
Doctor :   No it does not seem like , it may be due to infection or any benign condition.
Doctor :   Do you have any family history of Breast cancer?
User :   Shall i leave it alone or get mri done. That would be the next step
User :   yes both grandparents on both sides
Doctor :   Is the discharge related to your monthly cycles somehow?
User :   no it never goes away and i'm very regular with my periods
Doctor :   I will advice you to get a complete hormonal evaluation done as Estrogen and Progesterone level and also Thyroid levels done.
User :   i already did last year it's fine.
Doctor :   Ok
User :   is it ok to live with fluid if its harmless. it's just to me only mild should be coming out of there
Doctor :   Many benign conditions do cause discharge and if no associated pain or smell is there it can be ignored.
Doctor :   Get your mammogram done every six months.
Doctor :   If any symptoms increase get it examined.
User :   ok so u don't reccomend getting mri done with breast surgeon
User :   so i never have to worry about the fluid being pre cancer or turning into it in the future
Doctor :   Right now since you had Mammo and it was ok there does not seem to be an emergency
User :   i have ready that they can be false
Doctor :   If pain or foul smell is there then probability cant be ruled out
