may I know what was the doctor's opinion about the cause?
which help temporarily
yes.. sinus does not seems to be an issue
Let me brief you.
A few individuals have sensitivity.
Body is designed sensitivity for self protection; but unfortunately it becomes exaggerated in few individuals.
Since the design is for protection, the current medicines available has no irradication means.
Off course there are measures to reduce the symptoms which you named as temporary relief.
Therefore I recommend all my patients with similar complaints to consult an ENT surgeon
and get other possibilities excluded.
If you feel these are not able to control the symptoms adequately, they can explore other forms of treatment including ayurveda and homeopathy.
In simple words, the first step is isolating the cause and excluding other conditions.
Please visit an ENT surgeon if they haven't consulted this specialist before.
Once that is done, you can discuss about available symptom control medicines that I suggested earlier
is steam inhalation 2 - 3 times a day a good thing to do
plus explore ayurveda, homeo treatment.
even 2 -3 times?
It has no disadvantages and side effects. They can continue it 2-3 times a day.
Is there any other question?
what can I do for my son who is only 1yr & 8 months now
Symptoms of nasal congestion tend to improve with age
however in view of active adenoids they tend to suffer a lot.
The ENT surgeon will be able to assess his nasal and oral cavity and confirm the severity of symptoms.
If the issues is severe, the might recommend surgical management.
If not medicines available for pediatric use are suggested.
As I said, symptoms most likely improve as they grow above 5 years.
So my opinion remains the same, please consult ENT surgeon and take this concern forward.
thanks for your time
have a nice day
Thanks for consulting me.
Bye for now.
