User:What about you
Doctor:I am good
Doctor:sure go ahead
User:My mother is scheduled to have a cataract surgery
User:The doctor over there have advised there are four different types of IOL lens
User:It says a foreign co will cost 0000 MNC will cost 0000 and Indian co will cost 0000
User:I wanted to know is there any qualitative difference between the lenses
User:among the three
Doctor:I need a few answers before I can help
Doctor:How old is your mother?
User:62 years
Doctor:is the surgery been done in both eyes?
User:no right now only in the one eye
Doctor:does she wear glasses right now?
Doctor:for both near and distant vision ?
Doctor:or only for near or distant vision?
User:She wears for both near & far ..
Doctor:Then the best option I think would be to get a multifocal and accomodating lens
Doctor:Crystalens is one company which makes it
User:And is this a Indian co or a Foreign /MNC
Doctor:let me check this for you
Doctor:its a foreign company and its a multinationa;
Doctor:Bausch and lomb makes it
Doctor:I would rather have you speak with your ophthalmologist about the type
Doctor:of lens
Doctor:that is the most important thing I believe
User:OK .. i actually wanted to have a second opinion .. The ophthalmologist suggested the above price
Doctor:I understand that
Doctor:But I would need some time to find out the proce etc
User:Yes .. sorry got disconnected
Doctor:No problem
Doctor:To actually answer your question
Doctor:dont use a foreign brand
Doctor:But I would prefer a multinational thing than an Indian one
Doctor:the quality control is usually better
User:Ok.. Actually .. The way it was suggested sounds too general . They should have suggested the names of the company with prices .
Doctor:I understand
Doctor:so you can ask the specifics and get back
Doctor:We'll be happy to help
User:It sounds like I am going to some general shop and the shopkeeper is suggesting Indian / Foreign / MNC
User:oK thanks for all the help and bye for now
