User :   Hi,I am a student and have to appear in exam next month.I usually prepare for my exam by writting the topics.Last week suddenly, I felt pain in my right hand thumb while writing.I have the burning sensation on the tip of the thumb.I am thinking(NOT SURE) the pain was on a vein connecting to the center of the thumb. For few days, I ignored and took one pain kiler. Also, I covered my hand in crepe bandage, and I had the relief with that.
But from yesterday, I felt the problem occured again. The pain I am feeling is in right hand thumb and below the thumb (in the palm area).Today, I consulted one nurophysian and she has prescribed "ELIWEL 10" and "GABAPIN 300".Some how I felt that clinic is just trying to make money by writting so many test and all.Thats the reason, I am not finding confidence in that doctor, and wanted to get second openion with you.Kindly help me to know, is this a serious issue or just happend and need some basic medicine to get it cured? Thanks xxxx
