User :   i have a very stupid question to ask about stents

User :   they placed a ureteral stent in my right kidney

User :   and was remove feb. but the loop inside the kidney while pulling it out broke

User :   now up to this very moment that portion of that stent is still inside me

User :   is it possible that the loop can stent out?

User :   what happens if that happen?
Doctor :   You need worry about it if the stretching is minimal
Doctor :   If it stretches more, it can hamper passage of urine
User :   because this very moment i have a sharp pain

User :   and only when a straighten my right leg that i can feel the stabing pain

Try taking an anti-spasmodic like Cyclopam and watch for sometime
User :   if ever that it had stretched can it cause tearing anything
User :   stent was placed in my right ureter but the broken remanant is inside the right kidney
Doctor :   It does not cause any tearing, Do not worry about that
Doctor :   Wait for 2 hours after taking the medication, If your pain does not subside, please see a doctor
Doctor :   I understand
User :   dr. i feel the stabing pain not in the side where the kidney is it is a little bit lower but in the front
Doctor :   Take the medication once now after food, Wait for 2 hours and see
Doctor :   No
Doctor :   Since you are passing urine normally, do not worry
User :   so even the stent stretch out it would not cause any tearing anywhere
