User :   i am 31 yr breast feeding mother to a year old baby
Doctor :   go on.
User :   and since few hours today facing engorgement of one side of my breast accompanied with slight body pain
User :   i tried hot water fomentation for sometime but the pain is not reducing
User :   neither it is becoming soft like earlier , hence making it difficult for the baby to suckle

User :   since a couple of hours

User :   no fever nor reddening of the breast

Doctor :   when was the last time you fed your child on the affected side.
User :   trying to feed him so that it becomes soft, but it is difficult for the baby to suckle an engorged breast

Doctor :   examination of the lesion and some tests are very essential before we begin the treatment. So what i suggest is to consult a doctor and he would be able to treat the condition.

User :   i can show it to a doctor in the morning , but what should i take for pain now
Doctor :   continue hot fomentation.

User :   hot fomentation is not helping
