User :   Hi, I'm a 22yr Female, and yesterday during sex, the entire upper portion of my body cramped up to the point that it was out of my control. It started with a full body tingle, which is not out of the ordinary for me... but then my hands cramped up and then my whole arms. Within a minute I couldn't even open my mouth or eyes because all my face muscles were cramped too. It stayed this way for about a minute before anything started to relax. It was scary and it hurt! It was probably 10 minutes before I was I able to use all my muscles again. This has NEVER happened to me before during sex or any other activity. Nothing in my day or week seemed out of the ordinary as far as eating habits or activity.... what could this have been caused by? Do I need to be concerned? Is it likely to happen again?
Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :   Let me read your query
User :   hi
Doctor :   I am
Doctor :   Ok
User :   Please let me know if you have any further questions for me
Doctor :   Sure
Doctor :   Now, during sex, it is obvious to have good amount of excitation
Doctor :   and if there is orgasm, the muscles go into contraction phase
Doctor :   was it an orgasm like situation?
User :   no - this was an un-ordinary cramping situation for me... it has never happened before
Doctor :   Ok

Doctor :   Was during the climactic phase of sex?
Doctor :   'it
User :   getting there... but it wasn't the climactic moment that a normal orgasm would happen
Doctor :   Ok

Doctor :   the other possibility is a neurological stimulation, during peak excitement
Doctor :   even though it was not orgasm
Doctor :   other problem is due to calcium defeciency
User :   although... I'm not sure if I've ever had an orgasm. I've never been able to pin point a moment or feeling
Doctor :   Ok

Doctor :   the other possibility I mentioned is calcium defeciency
Doctor :   which cause such muscle spasms
Doctor :   involuntarily
User :   ok... so just get more calcium? Is this something that I should be concerned about? Or is it fairly normal for you body to re-act this way to a deficiency
Doctor :   It should be taken into concern

Doctor :   as it can repeat in future as well
Doctor :   for that a serum calcium test would be required
Doctor :   to assess the calcium levels as of now
User :   if it was a neurological stimulation situation... is that something that I should be worried about?
Doctor :   Do you have family history of epilepsy?

User :   no - not for the past 2 generations anyway
Doctor :   Ok, that is fine

Doctor :   I would recommend you to consult a Neurologist once and get a serum calcium test done
Doctor :   or else for neurological consulation
Doctor :   you can use our service
Doctor :   We have a renowned neurologist in our specialist panel
Doctor :   I shall give you the link
Doctor :   WWW.WWWW.WW
User :   alright. Thank you for your time and your help.
Doctor :   Thanks for consulting, bye for now
