User :   I have pain when passing urine and urine is bloody, saw a doctor did a FBC and urine test but WBC result is 11.3 and urinalysis report reads RBCs as 30/HPF. What is wrong with me

User :   45, it just started this afternoon
User :   was any other tests done ?
User :   Were there any casts in the urine ?
User :   Yes the doctor did a FBC and a Urinalysis test
User :   What is a cast
User :   these are seen in the urine and can be mentioned in the urine report
User :   these are protien clusters in combination with red cells or white cells or other epithelial cells
User :   He also asked me to to a haematuria test to check my kidneys and result will be out tomorow

User :   Ok is says SG 1.010 Casts not seen
User :   the presence of so many Red cells in the urine and a higher count of WBC could be due to either a urinary infection
User :   or it could be a inflammatory condition of the kidneys called as glomerulonephritis
User :   That is what the doctor is suspecting and gave me cefuroxime Axetil tablets

User :   in addition presence of flank and back pain could be due to pressence of kidney stones
User :   which also can cause bleeding in urine
User :   have u had frank blood in the urine ?

User :   no, i meant, did you pass frank blood when you urinated ?
User :   or this was revealed only in the tests ?
User :   When i go to urinate the urine comes with pain and is bloody when i wipe but doesnt soil my panties

User :   in that case, this could be due to infection
User :   have you been sexually active, prior to the onset of these symptoms ?
User :   this is coz, intercourse can cause such issues too

User :   sometimes intercourse can be associated with urethral injury
User :   But it hasnt happened before been married for 15 yrs
User :   and this can cause UTI, and burning pain as well as bleeding
User :   this could just be a coincidence
User :   ok, so i guess i should just take the medication and look out for a change

User :   take the antibiotic prescribed and also take ibuprofen
User :   I will go back to the hospital tomorrow for the kidney test results
User :   this will reduce the inflammation

User :   ok will get the ibuprofen and take it and see what happens

User :   based on the history, you just have a Uncomplicated UTI,

User :   yeah, that is beneficial to remove all the bacteria in the urinary tract
User :   I feel a lot better now that i have talked to you, was a little scared when the doctor asked me to take the kidney test.
