Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :   how can i help you ?
User :   I was hit in the testicles a couple of days ago. The next day I saw bright red blood in my stool. Then is stopped for a couple of days, but now it's back. Is it related to the blow (which was pretty hard) and what should I do?
Doctor :   do u have any pain in the testicles ?
User :   I did the day after. Not now.
Doctor :   may i know your age , weight , and height ?
Doctor :   do u have any tenderness, or feel any kind of discomfort there ?
User :   Age: 58, Weight: 220, Height: 5'9"
User :   I have just slight tenderness but no other discomfort.
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   is the bleeding in the stools , bright red ?
User :   Yes.
Doctor :   do u have constipation ?
User :   Not really. I'm pretty regular and that hasn't changed.
Doctor :   or discomfort while passing stools ?
User :   No. No discomfort.
User :   Actually, I feel fine, except I'm scared as heck.
Doctor :   in that case, there is no need to be worried
Doctor :   as blunt trauma to the scrotum does not cause any rectal bleeding
User :   I lift weights 3 times a week and do cario 3 times a week. Could that be part of the problem.
Doctor :   no
Doctor :   not at all
Doctor :   rectal bleed could be due to long standing hemorrhoids or fissures in the rectum
User :   So, should I take something or do something?
User :   Also, what could have caused the fissures? I'm not gay and do not have anal sex.
Doctor :   the first step here, is to get a stool examination
Doctor :   and then a rectal examination, to rule out the fissures or hemorrhoids
Doctor :   fissues are not due to sexual reasons
User :   Ok. I do not have insurance at the moment, though I do have some ability to pay for care. That said, is this something that is likely to pass?
Doctor :   yes,
Doctor :   you can take a weeks time, to see if it stops by itself and if the bleeding is not severe
User :   Ok. Thank you very much. I'll check back after a week has passed. Thanks.
Doctor :   if the bleed persists , then a rectal examination and stool test may be required
Doctor :   you are most welcome
Doctor :   take care and have a good day
User :   Have a good day, Doc.
Doctor :   bye for now
