User :   I have strain in back from last 6-8 days & being dealer i need to sit on the chair for almost 6 hours i.e the market hours & after a gap of half hour again couple of hours more. is there any solution for that
User :   it is severe back ache & because of that i cannot sleep also for more that 8 hours
User :   my weight is 80 kg & i am 31 yrs old
Doctor :   Can you confirm if this pain was only since the last 6-8 days or if you had this problem since a long time?
User :   no i never had such problems in past only in last 6 -8 days i facing this problem.
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   Do you feel the pain is radiation down your lower limbs/legs?
Doctor :   Are you able to walk normally?
User :   a bit in legs but it is due to standing & walking & i am able to walk very properly i face problem only while i bent

User :   no infact i was thinking of having some pain killer but don't know which one to take.

Doctor :   A few more details before I suggest my opinion, Do you have history of diabetes, high BP, kidney problems or gastritis?
User :   can it be because of the chair on which we sit for 6 - 7 hours a day.
Doctor :   That is possible.
User :   no man i am very well & by god grace i hardly fall ill.
Doctor :   You could have started this pain, after bending down and lifting an object too.

User :   Can you suggest the management to change the chairs ?
Doctor :   Now let me explain.
Doctor :   Yes, Work ergonomics is important in treating back issues.
Doctor :   Using a chair which you are comfortable in sitting will definitely help in preventing back pains in the future.
Doctor :   now for the current problem,
User :   ok
Doctor :   Ideally we suggest, rest for 3-4 days to give time for the strained muscles to become normal.
Doctor :   If possible, you could take off from work for a few days, till you feel better.
Doctor :   Apart from this, the following options will be useful.
User :   ok
Doctor :   1. You will need local anti inflammatory measures.
Doctor :   Heat is a natural anti inflammatory therapy.
Doctor :   Use a hot water bag on the affected region
Doctor :   they will reduce the inflammation thereby reducing the pain and fasten the recovery.
Doctor :   Alternatively, local anti inflammatory preparations such as volini gel/spray which can be brought from a chemist
Doctor :   can be applied at the affected region.
Doctor :   You can apply them thrice a day till you feel better.
Doctor :   Herbal pain balms such as moov, amruthanjan and others work on the same principle.
Doctor :   You can use them as an alternative choice.
Doctor :   2. Oral pain killers will given an addition benefit
Doctor :   in reducing the inflammation and pain.
User :   i am aplying all these balms & coutinuing to work. but now it is increasing.
User :   can u suggest oral pain killer.
Doctor :   Ibuprofen 400mg twice a day after a meal is good medication.
Doctor :   You can take them for 5-7 days.
User :   ok

Doctor :   Watch out for gastritis, they are common side effect of this tablet.
User :   if i don't feel still better i will get in touch with you.
Doctor :   If you develop gastritis, you need to complement with an antacid such as syp mucaine gel before food.
