Doctor :   Do you have a desk top job?
User :   yes it is aa desk job
Doctor :   The nerve compressing the neck causes the tingling sensation in the arm nerve also and if the cervical nerve C5 and C6 are being compressed they will cause this pain
Doctor :   Also since you have a desk top job the nerve supplying the hands also gets compressed and leads to this pain
Doctor :   It can only be ruled out after proper examination and investigation like X ray cervical area and also some blood tests.
Doctor :   Also you may require an MRI to see if there is any nerve compression.
Doctor :   If it is so then you may require some physiotherapy exercises.
Doctor :   Which will relieve the compression

Doctor :   Ok then you get your proper chest examination also done because any chest condition can lead to arm pain, also you are telling that you had a history of raised cholesterol.
User :   actually i had taken an MRI test some 6 years
User :   back
Doctor :   It is better to get your proper examination done to rule out
User :   cholesterol is much in control for the last 3-4 years now
User :   raised cholesterol was in 2002/2003
Doctor :   Six years was very long back time.
User :   perhaps travelling in bus for long journey also could have caused some pain in the neck and back ?
Doctor :   Nerve compression can arise in recent times.
Doctor :   I am not saying anything particular its just that since i am not observing and examining you i cannot comment anything particular.

Doctor :   Yes
User :   which will help me relieve the pain is it?
