Doctor :   1. Calender method - here you calculate the days on which probable ovulation may occur and avoid sex during those days.
User :   i basically want to know about iud
Doctor :   This is a very gross method and can fail most of the time.
Doctor :   2. IUD's are safe, and you may use them
Doctor :   The come in two forms,
User :   i am not married.
Doctor :   Copper based, and medicated forms.
User :   will that create problems in pregnancy after they have been removes.?
Doctor :   These have to be inserted into the uterus.
User :   removed
Doctor :   They are preferably used after marriage, but that is not a complete contraindication in non married women.
Doctor :   It can be safely remover.
Doctor :   However, the disadvantages of these are
Doctor :   problems of the IUD's getting displaced, infections, pain/discomfort in some,
Doctor :   apart from these are, the chances of ectopic pregnancies, if the IUD's fail by chance.
Doctor :   3. The third option you have is the use of oral birth pills.
User :   ok.
Doctor :   These are the most commonly now a days.
Doctor :   You can use them regularly as daily pills, or
Doctor :   there are periodically insertable devices.
User :   ok.
Doctor :   Medicated devices that are inserted under the skin,
Doctor :   they release the medications regularly and act against pregnancy.
Doctor :   Apart from these are the condoms.
User :   are these also calles birth control rings.?
Doctor :   Oral pills have the lowest failure rates.
Doctor :   Next are the IUD's and the insertable devices.
Doctor :   Birth control rings are one form of medicated IUD's
Doctor :   They are not birth pills.
User :   ok.
User :   where can i get the preodically insertable devices done from in delhi.?
Doctor :   You can choose among any of them, according to your convineance, but all have some side effects.
User :   ok.
Doctor :   You can get these from any of the pharmacist.
User :   ok.
Doctor :   However because of the side effects that can be seen with these, it is advisable that you are under follow up with a doctor,
Doctor :   preferably a gynaecologist,
Doctor :   Hence I would suggest you to consult one before starting up any of these methods.
