User :   I called an ambulance Monday feeling as if I were going to pass out, and very shaky. I was diagnosed with severe bronchitis and have gone through a round of Azithromy and Methylpred. I don't have a bad cough. I still do not feel any better at all and am still very shaky and nauseated most of the time.
Doctor :   hello
Doctor :   i am Dr xxx here
User :   Do I retype the info or do you have it?
Doctor :   may i know your age and gender please?
User :   female..59
Doctor :   i got the info
Doctor :   tell me the medications you on at this moment ?
User :   I'm just finishing the last dose of the above that they gave me. I take atenolol daily and an ocassional prilosec.
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   so you have high blood pressure ?
Doctor :   is it under control ?
User :   I was diagnosed 25 yrs ago with mitral valve prolapse, but when I had it rechecked 3 or 4 years ago I was told I never had one. But I was unable to go off the atenolol because I would have palpitations. Apparently I have had this bronchitis for over 2 months after returning from a vacation, but didn't have any symptioms.
User :   I still don't have the typical bronchitis symptoms as far as I'm concerned.
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   well let me tell you few things that you can do to keep things under control
User :   Just super shaky and kind of clammy. Feel very hot from the neck up. If I take a xanax it helps, but comes right back.
User :   ok
Doctor :   One of the most effective remedies for bronchitis is the use of turmeric powder. Half a teaspoon of this powder should be administered with half a glass of milk, two or three times daily. It acts best when taken on an empty stomach.
Doctor :   did you get your thyroid test done ?
User :   No
Doctor :   Another effective remedy for bronchitis is a mixture comprising of half a teaspoon each of the powder of ginger, pepper, and cloves, three times a day. It may be licked with honey or taken as an infusion with tea. It also tones up the metabolism of your body
Doctor :   i would suggest you to get a thyroid profile done
User :   Why would bronchitis, a respiratory infection make me so shaky though?
Doctor :   thats why i want you to get a thyroid profile
User :   ok. I am extremely tired ALL the time and have insomnia.
User :   I have an appt. Tuesday, so I will ask for that.

Doctor :   once its done we can screen out
User :   I have heard that the basic test doesn't always show anything. There is a more extensive one with some letters in it? Do you know what I should ask for?
Doctor :   tell tha you want your TSH tested
User :   yes, alright. Thank you for your time.
Doctor :   your most welcome
Doctor :   take care of your self
