User :   Hi my LFT is abnormal
User :   bilirubin level is 94 umol
User :   ALT - 13
User :   GGT - 15
User :   ultrasound, MRI normal
Doctor :   can u mention your age, weight, height and occupation please ?
User :   20yr old male, 10 stone, 5ft 7", administrator
User :   dont smoke, drink or do drugs

Doctor :   Do u have any other symptoms like yellowish discolration of skin , urine, etc ?
User :   very slight discolouration in slera, i had my urine checked bilirubin and copper that was both normal
User :   I am suffering from daytime drowsiness and pain under right rib cage
Doctor :   any fever, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, etc ?
Doctor :   any fatiigue , weakness ?
User :   appetite is good have been suffering from common cold
User :   no weakness

User :   blood smear which was abnormal

User :   with stomatocytes target cells and atypical lymphs

User :   Which test is that?
Doctor :   antibody analysis for hepatitis viruses
User :   I think so. All of my biochem is normal
User :   except unconjug bilirubin

Doctor :   any ultrasound liver done ?
User :   Yes that was clear
User :   and MRI
User :   which was also clear
Doctor :   so blood tests for hepatitis was done right ?
User :   I believe so, can you tell me what is measured for hepatitis
Doctor :   ANTIbody estimation by ELISA
User :   Ok I think it will have been done - autoimmune tests have also been done
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   in that case , if all such tests are normal
Doctor :   then there is no need to be worried about
Doctor :   did the doctor say that there was any liver enlargement ?
User :   No i believe this would have been picked up in the scans?
User :   the scans were all negative
Doctor :   any pain when pressed under the right ribcage ?
User :   No, just intermittent and doesn't seem to be associated with anything i do
User :   What could be the cause of the abnormal cells?
Doctor :   this seems to be a viral infection
Doctor :   and there is no need to be alarmed
Doctor :   the bilirubin levels will settel down
User :   Ok but this has been happening since february 2009?
Doctor :   then in that case, you may be having a benign liver issues
User :   what does this mean?
Doctor :   this could result due to minimal decrease in liver enzymes causing such issues
