User:Hello doctor
Doctor:How can I help/
User:again this is a query related to my daughter who is 3.5 months old.
User:all of a sudden she started crying and continued to cry for an hour
User:we could not find what the problem was...
User:one of my neighbour got the bonnison and gave two drops to her
User:and then she went ok...
User:was just wondering could it be colic?
Doctor:It could be
Doctor:Or simply abdominal distension as well
User:she burps OK after every feed but today i saw some small amount of vomit
User:sometimes she doesn't burp...
Doctor:Your wife needs to burp her properly
User:so is it OK if I give her Bonnisan on SOS basis
Doctor:Everytime she is fed, she needs to take her on the shoulder
Doctor:You can give this
Doctor:The burping needs to be done for atleast 5-10 mins
User:oh k... coz there are times when we hold her for 15 minutes and she doesn't burp
Doctor:the back needs to be massaged in a downwards direction
User:is there anything else which i can do to make her feel better
User:yes we do the same and sometimes i even rock her in heads up position
Doctor:Actually XXXXXXX if you read our books you'll realize that colic is just a possibilitt
Doctor:Its not confirmed
Doctor:and these syrups help digestion
User:oh k...
User:so it could be related to indigestion
Doctor:Thats why I am not very keen on giving her any medication
User:she is only on mothers feed
Doctor:It happens to all children
Doctor:and its ok
User:oh k....
Doctor:Its not something we need to worry about
User:oh k thanks for your advice
User:have a great evening bye and thanks
Doctor:You too
