I have osteoarthritis in some joints, especially primarily left and right knees in that order. I am 76 years old and am on BP, High Cholesterol, BPH, and have had by-pass surgery back in 1999. A friend recommended use of DMSO for joint pain, in order to postpone/avoid knee replacement surgery....

Hi, my mom had a cataract surgery on August 8. She is 83 yrs. old and after surgery the doctor prescribed her Vigamox 0.5% and Prednisolone AC 1% on drop four times a day. Today is day five after surgery and she still is having pain, stings, headache, dizziness and loosing balance when she walks....

Mom is 92 with various ailments. Now her ankles are swollen with some skin discoloration. Has had it for days but discoloration fading. Today off and on her left leg has “jumped” pn her- like an uncontrolled shutter and deadness behind the knee. Any immediate treatment?

77yr old male had pneumonia bad in hospital gets home is much better on HCTZ for B/P but his feet are swollen bad after sitting in chair at table, or driving, his feet has swelled like this ever since they never had before thats the only meds he takes

I am 69 and for one year I have have diarrea and loose bowels on a regular basis. I have also lost 15 pounds and take a lot of extra care to eat a lot of calories. I have also been really shaky in this past year. Some days the bm s look froathy and smell awful.

i am a 66YOWF typically very healthy and active. However, for 2 weeks i have had severe fatigue, myalgias, arthralgias, photophobia, chills and nausea. Flu swab was negative. Basic labs, vitals are all fine. this year i have had to have 3 spinal steroid injections. Last one was Sept 24 Differential?

My B/P today has been 201/98 at 8:30 am with a fasting blood sugar of 125. Took Carvedilol 25 mg and Losartan 100 mg. Ate. At 1:pm, B/P is 205/102. sugar dropped to 66 (OJ/food then), Now, at 3:pm, B/P is 198/97. Should I take Lasix 40 mg or more B/P med? I am a 75 y/o woman.

I am 78 years old and I know that I overworked myself. I spent parts of 3 days finishing 2 cabinets and last night I had such awful cramps on the inside of my thighs that I could barely move because of the pain. Then it woke me up at 2 am with the same thing. How should I treat this?

My boyfriend has PD w/ LBD. Is there something I can give him to stave of constipation? It happens about every 2-3 weeks. It really revs up the LBD until he gets relief. Otherwise BMs are fairly normal. At least no complaints brought to my attention. He is 69 and in good physical shape.
