Changes in You
  • At this time you are more prone to urinary tract infections (UTIs). You must get a urine test done by now.Sometimes you may have bleeding gums due to increased blood flow to the oral cavity. Take proper care of your dental hygiene as it prevents many problems. This is the period in pregnancy when a rare but a dangerous condition shoots in called preeclampsia. The symptoms could be blurred vision, frequent headache and high blood pressure. Don't worry, the Doctor shall take care of it if you hint him the symptoms.

  • By this week, your baby weighs about 300 to 320 gms and his/ her length from head to rump is seven inches. Concerned of increase in your weight? Well, you have someone for company! Yup, your baby has begun his/her main project for the rest of your pregnancy: putting on weight. Your baby is passing through an important milestone now and is shortly called as a viable fetus. This means that your baby can survive on its own if brought into the external environment, but only with the perfect conditions and temperature.
