Ranitidine (; trade name Zantac ) is a histamine H 2 -receptor antagonist that inhibits stomach acid production. It is commonly used in treatment of peptic ulcer disease (PUD) and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Ranitidine is also used alongside fexofenadine and other antihistamines for the treatment of skin conditions such as hives . Ranitidine is also known to give false positives for methamphetamine on drug tests.

I may be emic (sorry i really cant spell) but im getting my blood took this friday but untill then my doctor give me a corse of ranitidine i am aware of the side affects and since taking the 150mg tablets twice a day i am having nose bleeds often which is a common side affect so do i carry on taking the tablets or stop?
