i am 23 weeks pregnant and have been frequently suffering from sore throats! i have been prescribed ceftum 500mg b.d. dose for 7days. i have done the medicine course about three times in 6 months of pregnancy and i want to know any adverse effects (if any) of the drug on my baby..

I'm pretty sure I'm sick because I've had a sore throat my nose is really runny and I've been coughing I think it might be because of the weather but I have a lot of saliva building up in my mouth and I cannot stop it so I need to figure out what I can do without having to buy medical supply

well, the best way is actually taking the medicines!
you can try steam inhalation and warm salt water gargles 2-3 times a day!

hi my partner has had a sore throat,and cold symptoms for over 4 weeks,he has been to the doctor had swabs taken from the back of the throat,and have too wait for the results he did have a course of penicillian,took the pain away from his ear but didnt touch the pain in his throat,he has lump under his chin and he feels verry poorly .

Hi I took my daughter to dr today because she has a sore throat it's not tonsalitas but the dr did see a extra flap of skin in the throat she said it was rare and not harmful but wants us to go back next week what is it and how come she has it never noticed it before

yes i swallowed a mouth full of body wash it was swagger old spice... my name is migul,and i am 18 and weight at 135, my throat is a swollen tonsel my left side it hurts to swallow not like a sore throat my head on th top is sensitive i barley touch my had an it feels as if a sewwing needle was pokin my scalp.. and my left lung hurts it tastes nasty when i drink something

You have not suffered any serious damage if you only took one mouthful. Therefore, I suggest you treat the symptoms. Take paracetamol and ibuprofen for the pain. Drink plenty of water and milk. You symptoms should improve over the next day.

i have a sore throat,there is swelling in the back of my mouth and it hurt to swallow.i had my tooth extracted a few days and have been on some medication including amoxil.shouldnt this have prevented this throat problem?
Most likely yes, but in your case I'll suggest Amoxicillin/clavulanic acid. It's a bit more power than usual Amoxil.
