I am a 46-year-old female with a strong familial background of breast cancer, each occurring late in my relatives' lives and none fatal. Two months ago, I had my doctor do a very thorough manual check of my breasts, and he said he felt nothing amiss. Today I finally had my yearly mammogram, after putting it off for six months for fear of the outcome. I will not know the results until tomorrow or the next day. I am very worried. What are the chances of something being detected in my mammogram, given that my manual exam was normal?

Hi, i am a female, 18 years old. i started to develop a lump on my rigght breast near the armpit, i does not hurt. it hasent changed size and i dont have any weird symtoms nor my breast have changed. i am a little scared and would like to know is this is breast cancer?

it is best if you consult with a doctor, preferably a general surgeon, with regards to your concern. a physical examination is needed. breast ultrasound and a possible tissue diagnosis of the lump on your breast will be done if indications are found. one cannot tell if it is cancer or not...

been reading up about the tablets im taking levest and come across somehing about increasing breast cancer but i have had a lump in my right breast for a while just been to scared to have this checked out need help on wether or not i should stop taking this

First of all you need to visit a surgeon for physical examination of that lump...and an FNAC or mammogram as he mau advice.

Depending upon that only one can advice you to continue that medicine or not.
