I have been having a throbbing headache on and off for more than 3 years, panadol tablets only eases the pain but it reccurs in an hours time. Can you help?
Thanks for your query
It looks like you are suffering from migraine and by taking panadol you are only partially treating it. My advice to you would be to take migraine propylaxis, which means that there are drugs like propranolol which has to be taken on a daily basis to prevent these headaches from coming. Please meet a neurologist for this.
I hope I was of help
Hello and welcome to HCM,
Headache occurs due to many reasons- trauma, migraine, throbbing headache, giant cell arteritis, cluster headache, vascular problems, due to ocular problems, etc.
Thanks and take care
