General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
He would have contacted the herpes 2, but the present condition didn't have relation to the herpes.
It appears to be a boil, due to some infection, and it is a common infection, but it needs medical attention, for early recovery.
It is to be incised and drained completely for complete cure.
I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ofloxacin, ornidazole, serratiopeptidase, diclofenac after incision.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
