hello, doctor im having pain on my chest since last 15days..so im worring that it'll cause an heart attack pls give me a solution
Hi Mr. Ashok,
It is most unlikely that you have heart attack as you are only 22 years old. Pain during heart attack is called angina which is present usually in the left side of the chest and spreads to left shoulder and arm. This pain is very constricting type and last for few minutes. I suggest you get in touch with your doctor who can examine you in detail and rule out causes for the chest pain
Does the risk of having a heart attack increase with a histerectomy or menopause?
Hello and welcome to HCM,
The risk of heart attack is not related to hystrectomy.
Menopause is associated with fall in levels of estrogens and progesterone.
Estrogens have a protective effect on the cardiovascular health.
After menopause this protective effect is lost and the female is at similar risk for cardiovascular diseases as their male counterparts.
Thanks and take care
