Why There Is Swelling In Neck And Head Of My Friend With Numbness In Hands?

hi i have a friend that has swolling in his neck, head begins to swell, his lower back aches, and under his armpits, his hands are begining to numb as well as his feet. do you know what might be the cause and what he should do? He has been to the doctor several times and gets the same result.

There is a strong possibility that there is a swelling or a mass that is developing in his neck. The nature of the mass cannot be confirmed without a biopsy.

The swelling may be causing pressure on a spinal cord thereby affecting the other parts of the body causing all the symptoms.

I would suggest an MRI of the spine and the brain. This may help u know the exact problem and the extent of the problem. You may need to meet a neurologist and a neurosurgeon (depending on the result of the MRI).

Further medicines would depend on the reports of the MRI and the biopsy (if done)
