Have been having chest , abdomin & back pain for a month. Difficult sleeping also heart burn and regurgitation. Ekg normal and no high bp. Morbidly obese.
Hello, Your symptoms suggest that you are having acid reflux which is causing the problems to you.Since you are morbidly obese, reduction of weight is important. My advise to you would be to consult a BARIATRIC SURGEON and explore the possibility of BARIATRIC surgery for your future well being. Thanks

Does sleeping on your back ,give your back stress or back pain?
Hi, Sleeping on your back does not in itself give back pain. However, you should have a mattress which is firm enough to give adequate support to the lumbar area of your back. Sleeping on your side with a pillow between your legs can sometimes reduce back pain that may be present when on your back. Regards, Dr K A Pottinger

Why did I have palpitation today? It started after i came back from evening walk and continued through dinner. For 3 hours it continued and stopped afterwards.
Hi, Palpitations can occur randomly and last only a short while. As your lasted for 3 hours then this would be unusual and needs to be investigated. It may be due to a problem with the rhythm of your heart beat. I would suggest you see your doctor who may wish to do an EKG. Regards, Dr K A Pottinger
