My 9month old baby has had a upper respiratory infection for the past week and developed a rash all over body yesterday..been to gp but nowdeveloped warm redarm
The symptoms appear to be due to a viral infection superimposed with bacterial infection in upper respiratory tract. The symptoms may last for a period of 2 weeks even on medications.Do continue the medications your doctor has advised.
Why do i keep getting bladder infections. Like how do you get them?
Thanks for writing to health care magic.
I can understand your concern.
There could be various causes for that. If one is getting recurrent bladder infections he or she should be further investigated to rule out the cause for that. Causes like renal stones, reflux disorder etc are to be ruled out. Investigations like MCU, DMSA, ULTRA SOUND ABDOMEN are required.

How do you know for sure as an adult if you have an ear infection?
Hi Feogarch ! I am Dr Shareef answering your query. You will know of ear infection if you have any history of itching in the ear, with pain and possible discharge from that ear. This is more so with a preceding history of blocked nose or respiratory tract infection, where the tube joining the ear and nose gets blocked. If all these are true in this case, you better show yourself to ENT specialist
