I have had the flu for four days and excessive saliva for the past day or so. If i swallow the saliva i get sick and vomit. How do i stop this excessive saliva
Excessive salivation during flu period is a usual and much require process. This is because of the fact that the irritated and swollen mucosa or the upper respiratory and tract and mouth secrets more secretions. SO do not worry just take care of the flu part.
All the best.
saliva per se doesnt have smell.it is only when the glands are infected that sakiva can have some sort of smell.maximum number of times.saliva seems smelly because of the bacteria inside the mouth.these bacteria leads to fermentation of food etc, leading to bad smell.
can you tell me is it more in the morning or more in the night?
if you keep good hygiene of your mouth it should solve.
