Taking Asthalin, Synasma For Wheezing. Should Seritide Be Taken?

Hello doctor, my physician put me on asthalin ,cosome A , and SYNASMA for indications of wheezing and I have never had an asthmatic syndrome and am 50 years old .When i went to chest specialist ,she did the lung test and examined and said my allergy symptoms over the years and current wheezing shows i need sere tide ..so should i take seritide ?

Hi ! Most of the asthmatic symptoms one has may be due to allergic bronchitis which is common during this season due to pollen and dust movements in the air. So I would also recommend you with an anti histamine along with other bronchodilator drugs which are prescribed by your earlier doctor. Seritide is a mild steroid group of drugs with anti hitaminic and bronchodilator properties, and so it will help in relieving your symptoms due to allergy and thus may also help in reducing the dose of other medications as well.
