There are many causes for Splenomegaly.
1. Viral like mononucleosis may be the cause of splenomegaly in your case.
2. Bacterial infections
3. parasitic infections
4. Hemolytic anaemias.
5. Metabolic disorders.
Ct scan may show the extend of the enlargement but you may require to relevant test to arrive at a diagnosis.
