Sore Throats

Hi , mayi I haandswer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... Yeah I had a cold and a really bad cough and sore throat just before Xmas and was poorly all over Xmas any was feelin better apart from a cough but the past few days now I have a sore throat back again and my gland on my right hand side has come up and noticed today a red spot on that hanging thing what do you think it might be?

It may be tonsillitis i.e. viral or bacterial infection of tonsills. Please mention your age & other symptoms like fever, headache, etc.

i am 34 weeks pregnant with a really sore throat on the left side my ear on the same side hurts to

it could be recuurent sore throat. The hanging thing is uvula and not tonsils but recurrent sore throat is sugestive of tonsilitis. If you are getting tonsilitis more than 3 times in a year or 4 times in 2 years it is an indication for tonsilectome
