I had a Test that says I have moderate staph. what drugs do I use to cure it?
It is better to get tested for culture and sensitivity and take medicines accordingly. Methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus are going around. You can start with a penicillin like oxacillin, nafcillin, etc.
hiya I'm wondering what age you have to be to go on the pill I'm allergic to penicillin
Hello and thank you for sending the question.
This is at the discretion of your primary care physician. Most physicians would recommend at least waiting until age 18. With the permission of your parents however you might be able to begin this at a younger age.
All of this must be carefully considered. These particular medications have side effects which you can't ignore. I would recommend that you have a thorough discussion with your primary care physician to find out if this is the right choice for you and which medication in particular woodwork the best for you.
