I have gum desease , my gums have been for 3 to 4 years now, tried cleaning teeth, used floss, change tooth paste but still it does bleed sometimes
Hi.Thanks for writing on HCM.
Gum bleeding is common caused by vitamin deficiencies (Vit C, Vit K), gingivitis, brushing too hard, improper flossing, ill fitting dentures, due to bleeding disorders or due to medications like blood thinners. It is not related to tooth paste you use.I suggest to meet a dentist and evaluate the cause of bleeding.
