I am 39 years old and have just been diagnosed with reactive arthritis. My doc says it should not last more than 6 months but he isnt listening when I tell him this has been happening for the last 18 months. I have not been given any advice on how to deal with this or painkillers. At present I am unable to walk unaided due to the pain in my hips knees and lower back. What would you advise
hi, this seems to have become a chronic problem. I think you should undergo a test called hla b27, and if it is positive, the disease may be going towards ankylosing spondylitis which requires proper medication and exercise.
