What Causes Foamy Saliva?

For over a year I have foamy slimy saliva in my mouth my tongue is now drying and my lips get dry but it's constant in the morning I do have to spit and it's foamy and white. I have been to a GP tests done stomach and xrays of throat went to allergist ENT. I have changed my diet and my water intake is good. It's getting worse and so annoying. I don't cough I don't have nausea I just have constant foamy slimy gunk in mouth. Recently started tasting sour. I also was at my denist, I sometimes feel my mouth is dry he says it's not. The start of this slime was after a root canal 2 years ago in time I sometimes had a sticky film on my lips and this is what it has turned into and need some suggestions to fet back to normal. I can scrape my tongue a couple days a week and it removes the film off.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
By this time you must have taken lots of antibiotics and oral cleaning products.
Stop everything .

Just go for a course of an antibiotic, metronidazole, for 5 days , a single tablet of anti-fungal.

This is not a disease , this is a disorder wherein you get this problem due to habits you would not notice yourself.
You may need a medicine for your anxiety / depression and this will improve
