Hi..... Myself Pallavi..... I am 26 years old.......last month my periods started from 7th June...... Since my marriage is there on 9th july so I want to delay my periods...... Doctor has prescribed me to take combination of Lenovorgestrel and ethinyl estradiol...... Actually I want to confirm whether is it ok or not...... Or any side effects associated with this combination......

This is a commonly used combination . These are two hormones , an estrogen and an progesterone.

It is most commonly used for contraception but there are other uses.

There are possible side effects with any medication including hormonal medication. These side effects occur in the minority of persons using the medication.

The possible side effects are:headache, nausea, confusion, swelling of the legs, change in appetite. There are a few other potential side effects.
