Severe Lower Abdominal Pain After Taking Vimovo Naproxen Tablet. Is This A Side Effect Of Medication?
My doctor provided me with a sample of Vimovo naproxen/esomeprazole 500/200 mg. I took one mid afternoon and by 6:00 a.m. was awaken with a severe sharp pain in my lower abdomen (to the bottom left side) - could this be a side effect of this drug. This area was extremely tender for that day but by the next day was back to normal. I have not taken another tablet since. I have to-day looked up side effects of this drug and there seems to be many listed. Do you feel that one tablet could cause all this pain?
