also called gastric ulcer, causes: infection: H pylori infection. Drugs: NSAIDs( pain killers- ibuprofen,diclofenac or naproxen), aspirin, steroids. Others: use of alcohol, smoking, irregular eating habits, spicy foods. Diseases: gastrinomas, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
