Suggest Treatment For Pink Eyes

My 20 year old daughter was put on zirgan drops for viral pink eyes 3 days ago. Since than her eyes have hotter much worse. We went the ER today and were told those drops were to strong and made things worse.. We have to see a ophthalmologist in the morning to see if there is any damage. Meanwhile this evening one of eyes is actually bleeding. She has not used the zirgan drops since this morning..
Should I be concerned right now??

Hello
It seems from the history that your daughter is having viral conjunctivitis for which she is using zirgan eye drops. Zirgan eye drops contain ganciclovir and is used in treatment of viral infections.
Pink eye is acute conjunctivitis and can be caused by bacteria or viruses. The treatment depends on the cause and is by antibiotics in case of bacterial infections and antiviral drugs in viral infections.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
