What Is The Treatment For Uterine Fibroids?

My mom have taken a abdomen ultrasound scan for stomach pain..her age is 43 height is 5.2..she is having diabetes, thyroid and blood pressure as her parents had such things bt my mom side evreything is normal after taken the test.my mom is very much worried about her health nowadays...so wen coming back to tat report it shows 2 kinds of impression..one is left renal microliths and another is fibroids in uterus..could you please suggest a better treatment doctor?

Thanks for writing to healthcare magic.

Fibroids are benign( non cancerous ) masses usually seen in uterus. almost 30-40% of women over 40 have it.
if she doesn't have any bleeding issues like heavy flow, or pain abdomen or if the size of fibroid is not huge there is no need to worry. but a close watch has to be kept in view of her diabetes and hypertension.
she should undergo regular pap smear .
