How To Treat Severe Constipation And Upset Stomach?

hELLO Doctor, I am currently taking Bactrim 800/160`every 12 hours for staph. I have really bad constipation and upset stomach no matter what I eat or drink nothing seems to help with this problem but I am doing this on my doctor s order. Is there an alternative Doctor, please help,,thanx a lot. Sue

Thanks for writing to HCM.

Antibiotics cause upset stomach...you need to add a ppi and a preprobiotic to your drug list...it will surely help...also try eating fresh curds and bananas...
