If you got operated for Thyroid nodule it is important to know what is the cause of the same and as you have undergone surgery you might have undergone removal as it was suspicious.
But after its removal you should not feel pain(unless the surgery is recent in that case the pain will subside with time.
As regards hair fall it may be due to other reasons

Thanks for your query. Thyroid nodules are usually, but not always hyperactive (produce excessive thyroid hormone). You have not mentioned about the blood-work reports. If Thyroid hormone profile not done, then get it done to detect/rule out thyroid over-activity. Nodules are not cancerous.
