Ive been laying down for about 3 hours now and cannot fall asleep i feel like i have shortness of breath it started roughly an hour ago
Shallow breathing usually occurs when one is awake, if on lying down and awake the shallow breathing then can cause breathlessness. Do go for a brisk walk for a while and then go for sleep. This would solve your problem.
