Is It Dangerous To Have Tingling Sensation On A Sprained Ankle?

I rolled my ankle on Tuesday and yeah it hurt but ive done it before so never thought anything of it. Only this time the pain isn t going away. I can move it and walk on it with discomfort but I get a cold tingly feeling in my foot and up the front of my leg to my knee. Should I be worried?

Hi there.
Yes, you do need to be worried.
You might have a hairline fracture or a sprained ligament around the ankle.
First and foremost get an Xray of the ankle joint.
Get a below knee plaster done from your nearby hospital with complete bed rest for three weeks.
If Xray does not reveal a fracture then you will have to go for an MRI of the ankle joint to diagnose ligament injuries.
Pain will be relieved with tablet Nac plus 3 times daily for a week.
Good luck.
