Tingling And Numbness In The Back. Could This Be Muscular?

I'm experiencing tingling and numbness in my back between the shoulder blade and spine on my left side. I can't recall feeling it on the right side, but it's possible that it is, and I can't distinguish because the left side tingling is so prominent. It feels like it is in my muscle - it starts as a tingle and becomes numb/tingly several minutes later very often throughout the day. It began 4-5 days ago and seems to happen more frequently now. I'm a 27-year-old female. At first I thought it was overworked muscles, or something similar, because I am taking care of my five month old baby and i make wedding cakes for business

Hello,
Welcome at HCM.

I have read your query.

Such tingling & numbness can be there due to-

-Deficiency of vitamin B1,2,6,12.

-Continuous abnormal posture of back.

-Anxiety & stress.

-Hyperthyroidism

-Compression of nerve in back(may be due to abnormal posture).
You should consult to your doctor if this problem continue to persist.Till then you should try to reduce the stress or anxiety of work(if it is troubling you).
Take a multivitamin supplement.

Hope this all will help you.

With best wishes.
