yes mood changes and thyroid problem can be inter related to one other.
generally palpitations are associated with hyperthyroidism not hypothyroidism ,
if palpitations are your main symptoms please repeat your thyroidprofile.
mood swings , anxiety , restlessness, sleep deprivation, depression can be some of the feature associated with thyroid disorders.
My testosterone report shows T level 3.67. Range of the lab is 3-10.6 ng/ml.

So, it will be better to rule other causes of underweight.
Investigations like complete blood count, thyroidprofile, estimation of blood sugar level will be helpful to rule out any chronic infection, hormonal and metabolic causes.
