Cause For Thick White Coating On The Tongue?
I I have bowel problems and experience swelling of the stomach and also face as my body is unable to digest food I usually come up with a dark green tongue however for the last two days I have had a thick white coating on my tongue what could be the cause of this? I am very hydrated

hello thanx for consulting at hcm..since ur having gi problems,, i suggest u take an opinion with gastroenterologist, and clean ur tongue with a soft brush if possible, if it pains apply topical anesthetic, do saline water gargle thrice daily, since it has turned white now, it could be fungal infection it needs topical antifungal ointment, so take a consult with oral medicine for check up and prescription of drugs, and treatment,, u also may need multivitamins..hp it helps,,tc
