Suffering From Kidney Infection

Hi Doctor I have a kidney infection last month. I went to emergency for it and I get clipro antibiotic. but now I feel the same system as I had last month. Please let me know if my kidney got infection again and can I get heal forever ? Thank you so much. Stephen

Dear sir/madam, you have not mentioned what kidney infection. Whether it is urethritis/cystitis/pyelonephritis/prostatitis. So if you are having same problem again, then get urine analysis , urine culture and sensitivity and ultrasound abdomen done. Depending on this you can be started on antibiotic which is sensitive ( depending on urine culture and sensitivity report ) if tests reveal urinary tract infection. So better to consult nephrologist/urologist.
